My students are wonderful learners. They love to read and are inspired with hands on learning. They inquire about the world around them, and love to interact with real world problems. They enjoy working on solutions independently, in small groups, and as a class.
The students tend to learn more when they attempt something difficult or unusual.
We have talked a lot about the growth mindset and how our brain is a muscle and grows by attempting difficult tasks.
It is wonderful to see the support this class offers to each other throughout the school year.
My Project
After Spring Break, the students will return to a 4th nine weeks of the 2018-2019 school year. To keep the student's interests alive, teachers need to provide a lot more new experiences and hands on education to finish out the year strong.
These items that are on our donation list will give my students new experiences together.
This is a wonderful way to end the year as a whole class. Students will leave on the last day before summer break being inspired and wanting to learn more. Please help support the students learning and keep them curious about the world around them. Knowledge is a powerful thing.
