Reading Group Galore!

Help me give my students engaging and fun titles to read within our reading groups. As a new teacher I am still building my library and I wish to share with my students a love of diverse books!

My Students

Teaching ICT second grade is one of the most engaging and rewarding experiences I have ever had. I have a variety of interests, levels, and skills that make up our wonderful community and family within the classroom.

In our classroom, a sense of community and family is foundational to continuing our educational growth.

My students are such a strong mixture of levels and skills that every day is an adventure that I make sure is focused on a sense of safety, love, and development. The work we focus on in our classroom is making sure everyone in our classroom feels worthy, included, and will become an educated member of their community.

My Project

These books will help my students grow in both their enjoyment of reading and their reading abilities. I will be utilizing these books in our classrooms' reading groups to show students' a variety of stories, people, and places to expand their understanding of the world as well as grow their understanding of reading. Each of these books sets are different levels to make sure everyone within our classroom feels supported in their learning journey and still find a joy within books that they may have previously thought they couldn't find.
