Our middle schoolers are excellent students who were dealt a hand that they have no control of, but they still come to school every single day and try their best to prove the statistics wrong.
Our middle school students are more than just underprivileged kids in the Mississippi Delta.
They are also ambassadors in our community. Our middle school is on its way to being a top-rated school in the Mississippi Delta, and my students need your help securing that title of distinction through experiences and resources.
I have a small book shelf filled with books that most of my students like. They would like to see new titles on our shelves because they said they've almost read every single book in our classroom library.
When I had a conversation with my classes about the types of books they wanted me to add to our library, they had already written down a list of titles for me to start collecting.
They are awesome like that! Our avid readers are on a constant lookout for something new to read and to share with their friends, which is why we have requested duplicate copies of 3 titles.
