Do you remember picking up a book and just falling in love with the characters? This is what I want all my students to feel when they pick up a book that is about something they are interested in each and every time they read a book.
My class comes from a Title 1 school where we have a wide variety of learners which results in a wide variety of reading levels.
I have students who are just beginning to read to students who are reading chapter books. There are 30 students in my class so it can be hard to reach out to each student and focus on their reading level on a daily basis, but through reading books in our classroom library they are able to better their selves with reading.
My Project
Students in my class will use these books to help become better readers because students are more likely to want to read a book that they are interested in. My students will have the opportunity to use these books each day in our classroom library. As well as during classroom instruction where we will look into specific stories in more details.
Your donations will help my students because they will be excited to read about topics that relate more to them and to stories that have fun outlines on a daily basis.
We try to read as much as we can possible each day and having books that students can read by their selves truly helps out.
