I work with students who have exceptional learning needs. This project will benefit students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grade who are struggling to meet grade level expectations in reading.
We work hard to differentiate learning to meet their individual learning goals, and still, many students struggle to make projected progress.
We are an experiential learning charter school and could use all the financial support we can get. My students and I are always grateful for support of our classroom needs.
We are asking for students to have access to an iPad and headphones that will be used daily in our classroom. I work with middle school students who are struggling with basic literacy skills. These students come early to school to get extra reading practice with the “Fast Forward” program. This program requires students to dedicate thirty minutes a day, five days a week to completing the tasks on an iPad app.
Having an extra iPad in our classroom will allow another student to participate in this opportunity and improve reading skills.
Students need to use headphones to complete the program. Your support will go directly towards improving literacy skills.
