My students need a renewed year-long subscription for Reading Eggs.

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose,” by Dr. Seuss. My students are ready to learn and succeed but they just need some help to get them started and pointed in the right direction to become great readers.
I have 26 very busy and active first graders.
A majority of my students came to me reading below a first grade reading level, however they are eager to reach the goals that they have set for themselves. Our classroom is very student-centered and student-driven. Students have multiple times throughout the day to independently practice newly introduced skills. I have tried to create an environment of independent thinkers and achievers. My school is in a low income area. We have a variety of different technology components at our school however nothing geared towards my primary students.
We are in need of a one-year class subscription to Reading Eggs. This interactive reading program is designed to help children from grades K-2 to develop and enhance reading skills. I can also monitor the progress of each student and design lessons to help each student. This resource has helped increase reading fluency and comprehension skills. We have used this program during our literacy centers. My students can also use this at their home so they can keep reaching for their goals.
My students would be so disappointed to see this wonderful resource go away.
Please keep my students' reading! Your support is needed in order to keep this resource in the classroom and at their home. My students and I would really appreciate your support. Donors like you help to make learning exciting in the classroom.
