Reading & Drawing

Help me give my students supplies for our classroom and books that they are interested in reading.

My Students

My students are the best. I bet a lot of teachers say this. They are so fun to be around. Each student has a great personality that makes our classroom fun, engaging, hard-working, and unique.

I was very lucky with my class this year.

My students all seem to care about one another. I have had students constantly looking out for one another in their personal and school lives. I have worked hard with my students in being honest. They understand that honesty is the best policy and if they are honest, they don't get into as much trouble, because it means they understand they did something wrong.

I have more girls than boys in my class, which is uncommon in my grade. This dynamic has made it an interesting class in that we do a lot of acting/dancing in our class. This class challenges me, but they also make me want to be a better teacher for them. I love pulling pranks on my kids and being sarcastic. We love telling stories and really emphasizing what makes each of us unique.

My Project

I am wanting to have more book resources in my classroom. I have many students that aren't into reading non-fiction. These books would really help them to be more interested in these types of stories. The art supplies will also allow my students to have more time with visual arts. We will finally have the resources to do some other types of art projects and be able to do more of them.

These resources will help our classroom leaps and bounds.

Through these resources, my students will have more fun with learning. It will allow me to give them more as well.
