I have the pleasure of teaching a very diverse group of second graders! Life for them isn't always the easiest but they still seem to come in smiling ready for the day. We strive to push each other every day to reach the fullest potential in our room.
They love to learn through laughter and movement.
When provided with the essential tools needed for learning, my class will become great leaders for our world. Title 1 may be our economic status, but that isn't what we allow to be our barrier.
My Project
My students need a comfy and cozy place in my room to read all the great books and go on all the wonderful printed adventures. The rug will be a great addition to make them feel right at home and give them a place to select their books while the bean bags will give them a seat to sit in other than their chairs.
Being comfortable is the key to finding a love for learning.
The selected books will give us a great head start on our new classroom library. The items in this project will be a great addition to growing our learning environment.
