The students in my reading class are in seventh and eighth grade. These amazing students are on a quest to become life-long readers. We are doing this by showing students the importance of reading both inside and outside of the classroom. These students are reading books at an incredible rate and they are in love with books. I am one of the luckiest teachers in the world because of the incredible students who walk into my room each day!
My Project
The materials in this project will ensure my classroom receives a much needed makeover. During my nine years of teaching, I continually try and come up with new ways to meet the needs of the students in my room. Every student has a different way they like to learn. This includes seating. Some students like to stand, some like to rock in a chair, some prefer a table and chair. The items in this project give my students more options for seating in the classroom. The more I can do to help my students in the classroom, the better we will be!
