Reading Can Be Fun for Kids Autism
My students need Reading Match Ups Set 1 and Set 2, Science Match Ups, and Geography Skills Match Ups.
Do you remember how much fun learning centers can be?
I teach a self-contained class of students with autism in first through fifth grades in Florida.
Most of our students are higher functioning and are working towards a regular diploma. These students often need instruction presented in a different way in order for them to retain what is being taught.
I would love to have these match up puzzles for my older students as a learning center. We have many puzzles and games for the students who are younger and just learning to read. However, the older students have trouble understanding why they can't do the puzzles for a center. These would solve the problem. They will be able to have a puzzle center while I work with other students and it would be appropriate for their level of reading.
Your donations will make a difference in the lives of children with autism.
These students will be able to learn about the world while reading and having fun. Remember every little bit makes a difference!
