My students are funny and ready to learn! I teach in a Title I School. My students are vivacious, curious, and inquisitive. They come from varied socio-economic backgrounds and cultures. Several of my students have grandparents who are the primary caregiver.
We use the Seven Habits of Healthy Kids, to bring out the best of ourselves and others.
We try to cooperate with each other, because together is better. We are working on being students who are responsible, respectful, and ready to learn.
My Project
These new books will give my students the opportunity to use the classroom library daily. Instead of hiking to the library, students can begin their campout immediately. Putting books in students hands and providing opportunity for growth in reading, is essential for academic development.
Having mystery books, such as the Hardy Boys, Cam Jansen, and Encyclopedia Bown will encourage students to use their problem solving skills and develop an interest in reading.
