This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year my class began with just the basics. We’ve managed but our students would be more successful if we had the tools necessary for them to build effective reading and writing notebooks, annotate their text, have small group resources and multiple ways to formatively assess them. We are in need of markers, colored pencils for annotations and Post it notes for students to use during their reading to jot down important details. I’ve also added a few books for our classroom library as well as earbuds to help my students who have accommodations.
