My Students

My students come from a low-income​ area and some of them have special needs. These students often come in not having any prior educational experiences. Many students also have trouble bringing in basic supplies.

My students are in great need of materials that allow them to learn in a different way.

They are very eager to learn new material but sometimes it is hard for them to focus. My students require more versatile ways of learning. My students love to have fun while learning but they just need some extra materials to make learning more exciting!

My Project

These materials will help my students learn to become better readers and writers in a fun and unique way. They can independently work on their phonics skills and progress into readers with the pen reader set. Having a set of them also allows them to work in flex groups and use peer guidance as they learn! My students will also get to expand their writing experiences with these fun and unique writing prompts that help aid their writing in the process. My students can then take what they have learned and create writing journals to share with the class!
