My Project

I teach the most amazing kids! As a Reading Recovery Specialist, I work with the students who struggle most with reading and writing. We work together for 20 weeks to build up their skills and help them get to grade level.

Boogie & Jelly Boards, Doodle-Buddies, and colorful markers are important tools, because they are fun and they make kids WANT to learn to read and write!

I will use these tools to encourage my students to practice reading and writing, so that they can become stronger and more efficient readers and writers.
