This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello! My name is Mrs. Cooper and I teach 5th grade in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. My learners come from diverse backgrounds and come to school ready to learn. My students respectfully appreciate the differences in each other and in our classroom we are a family. My students have varying learning styles and need various types of resources in order to ensure their successes. It is great to see the joy in their eyes when they learn something new and how proud they are of themselves when they understand the lesson.
My Project
My 5th grade classroom is full of many diverse learners who each have their own unique learning styles. These reading and writing materials will help them to gain literacy skills and actively engage them in learning. They are an active bunch and enjoy learning through play and hands-on activities. These different materials will help reach all of my different styles of learning in my diverse classroom. We are extremely grateful for any and all help that we can get to help us finish this year strong and set us up for a very successful future. Thank you in advance for everything!
