This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been teaching for twenty-one years in the same urban school. Our school is a Title I school, meaning all students eat lunch and breakfast for free. I teach special needs students in many grade levels. My students are hard working, loving kids, and they try their best every day.

My students come to school every day, ready to learn.

They try their best in all areas of the school setting, be it the classroom, lunch, art, gym, music or the library. Each child is special to me, and I want to provide everything they need to enhance their learning while they are at school.

My Project

My students have been learning about the Solar System the past 4 weeks Now they are ready to move on to fiction books, and I thought they would love to read the Magic School Bus book about the Solar System.

My students LOVE learning about the Solar System, and after we are done reading the Magic School Bus books I want them to be able to keep them and take them home.

They also love stress balls, and with so much testing they like to squeeze them and play with them to relieve their stress. With your donation each student would have their own stress ball.
