My Students

My 4th grade students are full of energy and ready to learn. They have a love for reading and are full of excitement in everything I teach. My school in is a rural area and has a high percentage of low income families.

Because I want to provide the best learning environment possible, I need help from people like the generous donors.

My students have grateful and caring hearts, and I want them to learn that in our world, there are complete strangers that care about their education as I do.

My Project

Reading is such a core part of the 4th grade curriculum and a seamless way to expose young students to important topics. These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to have. My students have a deep desire to learn and absolutely love to read.

The novel, Number the Stars, will allow my students to relate and learn about huge events in world history, and enhance their understanding on specific topics.

The chrome book will continue to peak their interest in reading by giving us a way to take AR tests in my classroom at all times. They already have a love for reading, but I want to continue to foster that love to make them life-long readers!
