I am incredibly lucky to teach a classroom of 18 amazing and talented kids! We live and learn in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Montana. We couldn't ask for a more beautiful backdrop for our education!
My students are bright, compassionate and full of curiosity!
They love to work together and problem solve in both academic and social arenas. These students work hard, play hard, and are developing an incredible capacity for learning. They hold one another up and continuously encourage one another to always reach for growth.
There is great diversity among these students in their likes, dislikes, interests and skill sets. We work to differentiate and meet the needs of each young learner so that they will all grow to meet their goals with great success. I am lucky to have such collaborative and compassionate students. Watching them work together to ensure all goals are reached provides me with great hope for our future!
My Project
As young readers, it is often a looming and overwhelming experience to search through a library to find that "just right book", and as a classroom teacher I often struggle with the time to assist every child to find just what they need right as they need it.
These Storex Book Bins will offer the accessibility for my students to get their hands on just the book they need in exactly the moment they need it.
With clearly labeled bins (organized by genre) throughout the room, they will be more able to find a book that interests them or fills a need, leaving more precious time to be actively engaged in reading!
