My Students

We are a Title 1 school, and majority of our students receive free or reduced price lunch and breakfast. Many of my students live in the neighborhood where the school is located.

My students come to school eager to learn every day!

They enjoy walking into our classroom and seeing the fun exciting things we will do for the day. My students love working in groups and they work really well together. They all motivate each other and encourage each other to do their very best every single day.

My Project

We are in need of newer phonic activities. We are working on blending our words together and reading. The phonics activities such as Touch & Read Phonics Match will make a huge difference in our center time. Students will be able to use this activity to do independent work. The kit has pictures to help them match the words they are sounding out. We are also in need of privacy partitions. Some of my students like to have their privacy during center time and assessments.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of phonics and keep their attention focused during our center time and assessments.

By being able to gift them with items to make their work easier and more special, they will continue to work hard. A little appreciation goes a long way to students and my students give so much.
