Readers Theater Scripts Build Confident Readers!

My students need 7 readers theater scripts such as the "How I Became a Pirate" Readers Theater to help them connect to and learn to love reading.

I teach high needs third graders who read on first and second grade reading levels. They are good kids who don't have help at home for the most part. Most have very hard lives and face many challenges before they even step foot into my classroom.

Reading can be fun! It can also set children up to be successful in life. I hope to get my students hooked on reading with the use of reader's theater scripts. Reading is so much fun when you can act it out!

I need the scripts for reader's theater so my students can connect and engage with texts. Adding movement and a theater-like production gets kids excited about reading. The more they read and act out the stories, the more confident they become. These scripts will help me develop confident on-grade level readers who actually like to read for fun.

My students don't get read to at home. They don't have someone help them with their homework. They are low level readers who lack confidence and enthusiasm. These scripts will help them for a lifetime by getting them excited about reading!
