Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I want the best for my pre-k babies! Some of my students come from a lower income background in which they do not have access to learning/educational materials. Teaching an inclusion class is so rewarding. My kiddos love life, have huge imaginations, are curious about the world, love to partake in all crafts and love tremendous amounts of glue. I want them to know that no matter their situation/disability, they can fulfill their full potential! I want to be able to provide them with the best of the best!
My Project
The learning letters activity carpet will help my students learn their letters as they sit on specific spots during the day and will give them enough room for a safe learning environment. The writing boards, alphabet, number dough stampers and uppercase alphabet pebbles will help with literacy and language development needed for success as they enter the next grade. These preschoolers are hands-on and it has been proven that the smaller ones learn better when participating in these type of activities. The felt board panel will be used to re-tell stories during the day as whole group and will also be used as an independent center.
