My Students

My students are the future. They represent so many diverse cultures and walks of life. I'm so lucky to teach them and am excited to see how they grow this year. One of the most powerful tools for teaching is books. Now more than ever, we need students to rise up as leaders who are informed and who care about others. Books allow students to see from different perspectives. These resources could help change readers into leaders. Please consider supporting our class!

My Project

My students need books that encourage them to imagine futures beyond anything they can imagine. A future in which they care about the people around them. Books are such important tools in teaching character and help students see from different perspectives. Students constantly amaze me when we talk about the books they've read because they look for a message or something important the author wants to teach them and they take it to heart.

Students will be able to come into contact with world views, thoughts, and ideas they have never seen before.

They will get to see through a different set of eyes and explore the world through books. Help me turn these readers into leaders!
