Help me give my students new books for our classroom. I have chosen books that will help my students develop critical thinking skills as well as grow socially and emotionally.
I love my first graders! I serve a wide range of student with different learning styles. They are eager to learn new things and encourage each other to be independent learners.
My amazing students not only challenge each other, but they also challenge me each day to think outside of the box to meet their needs.
Their desire and curiosity for the world around them is truly amazing. They are destined to be successful with the right encouragement and structure.
My Project
I have been teaching for thirteen years and our classroom library could use a little refresher. I have selected books that will engage the students in STEM activities. I also have chosen books that will help with the development of their social and emotional intelligence. I conduct a morning meeting each day and I will be using a lot of these books for our morning meetings. The stem books will be introduction into our STEM lesson.
I believe that a child's future can be discovered in the pages of a book and I would love to be able to provide new adventures for my students.
