My Students

The students I work with are hungry for new books. They drop in daily and ask when the latest in a series will arrive or if their holds are ready. Over 800 diverse students attend my school and every student uses the library on a regular basis.

It is important to offer as many opportunities for my students to engage with books as I can.

There are always more fantastic books published than I can afford. I'm hoping to supplement the purchases I make this year with your generous donations!

My Project

Excellent libraries with up-to-date books draw students in to browse and read. Though I have a reasonable budget from the school district, it is never enough to cover all the extras. I have wish lists that include hundreds of books that have been requested, but funds have run low.

The listed books include diverse books to help students understand the world beyond where they live and learn, as well as lots of fun books to help students who might not see themselves as readers get drawn into text.

The books also represent a variety of genres from graphic novels to nonfiction . . . there is definitely something for everyone. Thank you for supporting reading!
