Help me give my students the right interest books to keep them reading. Books such as, J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter books presented in colorful illustrations, allow all my students to enjoy reading them.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Despite the budget cuts that our schools experience in the inner city of Chicago, our elementary school persists in supporting our inquisitive, avid readers through our library program.
Our students love to come into the school library and enjoy checking books of their choice.
If you visit our school library you will see a diverse group of students wonder, discover, explore, create, question the world around them through the reading of a good book.
As a teacher-librarian, I encourage reading and information exploration. Our library program is an essential part of our school. We value the power of information that comes from reading.
My Project
Interest books in the hands of my 4th through 8th grade students will help them continue to find joy in reading. As a Librarian I seek to promote the love of reading in my students.
I need your help in providing the right books for them to engage in reading.
These books were hand picked so that all my students with varying reading levels can enjoy a book. Whether they want to engage in reading a short novel, an illustrated book, or a graphic novel, we want them to read to their heart's content. I invite you to be part of making this possible for my middle school students. Your donation will make it possible for them to keep reading for growth. Thank you.
