Help me give my students a Chromebook that will allow them to create Vlogs or other digital presentations in the library. Students will think critically as they recommend and summarize books.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our scholars are inquisitive, curious, hard-working, diligent, kind, giving, and all around great kids. I am new to this school and as I have been interacting with the students, I see the love of learning and the desire to excel.
My students need the opportunity to grow as readers and excel in a speaking and summarizing in a digital format such as Vlogs.
Students are so excited to tell me about the latest book they have read. This is a great opportunity for them to present in a digital format.
My Project
Students will utilize the Chromebook to create digital presentations of summaries of different books in the Library. Students will use utilize power point presentations or Video logs to present their summaries.
In a digital world, our students deserve to have access to the tools to compete in the future.
The idea consists of students reading a library book, then creating a summary and recommendation of the book in digital form. This video or presentation will be linked to the book. When students come to search for a book, they will have the opportunity to access the video summary log. This Chromebook is the missing piece to the puzzle. It will complete the idea of creating digital learners and thinkers through literacy.
