I am teaching about sixty students this year in a reading intervention class. This class is designed to help students who are significantly below grade level. I have a wide spectrum of ability levels ranging from students who do not speak English to students who are only a year or two behind their grade level. With the limited resources we have available, I don't have much that helps readers that are significantly below grade level. To help meet the needs of my students, I have found specific skill studies to be super beneficial in eliminating gaps and helping students grow who are reading at a lower elementary level. Therefore, I would love to have different reading skill sets in order to make sure all students can successfully close all the reading gaps in order to read on grade level.

To help meet the needs of my students, I have found specific skill studies to be super beneficial in eliminating gaps and helping students grow who are reading at a lower elementary level. Therefore, I would love to have different reading skill sets, such as book and other resources, in order to make sure all students can successfully close all the reading gaps in order to read on grade level. I have found that books that focus on different skill areas are beneficial for my students in mastering that skill.
