My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are an active bunch who care deeply about one an other.

I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

Our school is an immersion language school. We are divided into two classes and we read and write in several languages. We come from various countries and varying backgrounds and come together in our global classroom.

My Project

This year our school added an extra 2nd grade which meant our classroom started with very little in the way of supplies. We would love to increase our classroom library and get some up to date popular titles and some more advanced texts to increase literacy and excitement in our room.

We follow the Reading Workshop model and our class need access to books, books and more books.

We LOVE reading and we've exhausted most of the texts already in our class library. More books at higher levels will help us to increase our reading levels and continue to help our love of reading grow from strength to strength.
