My Students
To succeed, students need to be able to read. The books I am requesting are action packed, fun filled, and informational. These books will be used to motivate and improve reading skills.
My school is located in a very small community with the school being the hub. Many of the students rarely travel very far from the area, and have limited experiences. The books I need to bring into the classroom need to help provide some varied experiences. The books will be used in grades 6-8.
My Project
These books will be used for enjoyment, and also to help improve reading abilities. The books I have requested will expose the students to Greek Mythology, Historical Fiction, and Fantasy. Some of the books are written on a low level to help my lower readers.
This project will mean the world to my students. Without reading, where would any of us be. These books will be used in grades 6-8, and for many of these students this may be their last chance to learn to read. This project will help them to Read to Succeed!
