My Students

My students are from a low income area and need reading materials to learn the skills needed to be successful in reading.

My students are hard workers who need books to read during small group instruction.

These students would love to have new books instead of books that are falling apart. These low income students need levelized books to read during small group instruction.

My Project

I am requesting 10 copies of each of the following titles: The Trouble with Chickens, Snot Stew, and Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery. My students will read these levelized books during small group. They will review new and previously taught skills while reading these books. Since the books are levelized, they can also work independently to apply these skills. These books will help them master many needed reading and language skills.

With the donation of these books for my classroom, my students will come lifelong readers as they master reading skills.

These books will help them form a love of reading to help them become successful adults.
