My Students

Our grade 3-5 students come to the library each and every week to learn 21st-century skills! This year our school is working on health and fitness for all students. How do we combine the two? The answer: Students can read and pedal at the same time!

Our school motto at our school is "Proudly Excelling Together".

Our students attend our small town rural school at the foot of a local mountain range. Our small community totally supports all of our students. The student body is made of different cultures and includes many FARM students. Our school's overall focus is kindness to all.

My Project

In our school library media center we are trying to incorporate health with literacy. This exercise bike will help all students in the school since each student comes to the library.

One of our school's goals this year is to have our students healthy in body and mind.

By having this exercise bike in the school library media center, students will be able to read their favorite book at the same time they increase their cardio stamina which will make them healthier. Staff can set an example by using the exercise bike to increase their cardio stamina as they read.
