My students love to explore and create. They are curious children who love to learn by doing and creating. My students come from very diverse backgrounds; yet, you would not know it when you walk into the classroom. We all interact and enjoy learning together.
Learning by doing is a focus in my school and classroom.
We make the most out of what we have. We don't focus on what we can't do; instead, we focus on what we can do.
My Project
These books will allow me to add to the collection of books that I am reading to my students every day. I want my students to realize that there are all different kinds of places, people and animals in books. I want to show them places they have never been, people they have never met, and teach them about problems and how to go about solving them. I can do all these things through books.
I believe the way to make a good reader, is to show them how great reading can be.
By reading a book every day to my students I am sharing my love of reading with them and show them books they might never have picked on their own.
