I teach students with special needs and general education students inside the regular education classroom. My classroom is a very active place! My students are very eager and enthusiastic to find out how what, and why things work the way they do. The disabilities they face do not hold them back.
Students in my class learn best with hands-on projects that involve an integrated curriculum.
They love science, mathematics, and art, so we try to blend these as much as possible. My students love learning.
Using a STEAM approach in the classroom helps motivate students with activities that they truly enjoy while developing academic skills.
My students love to learn and are excited to do new things! They are always on the move and love lessons that keep them active and engaged. They love to be creative and use that creativity to make new things!
My Project
Nothing is more exciting than opening up a new book! My students need a variety of high interest books, including books about science and animals. This will make my students more excited about reading and learning! These new books will open up whole new worlds for my students! They will have books on their level that they can access right in the classroom. This project will change my classroom and get all of my students more excited about reading every day. Books can transform a classroom, and these books will add so much! My goal is to get my students excited about learning how to read, and this project can do just that.
