My students are full of energy, excitement, curiosity, and creativity. Each day my students come to school ready to learn with a smile on their faces. Having the opportunity to work together with these very special five and six year olds is amazing. They are constantly teaching me new things.

Living in a small town in South Dakota, I am grateful to have the opportunity to continue watching each child grow as they continue with their education. Getting to work with these kiddos is definitely a privilege!
My Project
These headphones will allow my students to be more successful and positive with the technology that is available in our classroom. We are so blessed in our classroom to have access to iPads and computers. The headphones we currently have are not reliable and often cause frustration with my students. With these new headphones, my students will be able to become more independent and will have the opportunity to continue to grow as learners.

Our classroom is also in need of books that are leveled appropriately for my students to read. As a teacher in her early stages of teaching, I am still trying to collect books for my classroom library. Books are such a powerful tool, and we would love the chance to add to our collection. In kindergarten, the students start learning how to read. It is crucial that there are a variety of books to pique each student's interest. We want to instill the love of reading at this early stage of their life! These materials would have such a positive impact on my kiddos!
