My kids are strong-willed and full of energy. They love to be hands-on and learn new things, inside and outside the classroom. They’re compassionate and love each other. I see how they help each other during class and also with situations not involving education. They make an effort to do good, and I would love to see them be rewarded for their kindness. These kids come from low-income regions and rely on their friends and their school to help them along the way.
My Project
Trying to find enough materials to teach every student has been a struggle during the pandemic. Students need multiple examples of a new concept, taught in multiple ways. Trying to do this virtually while promoting engagement is my top priority.
This project will give students a variety of reading and writing resources to ensure that all students' needs are being met.
Every book will help students understand a reading or writing topic and also help me to understand how my students learn. Virtually learning is a challenge, but with the right resources, students are excelling.
