My Project

Reading is hard, especially if you had to learn during a pandemic. Many youths have a thirst for reading that schools cannot provide. My students do not have stable transportation to the library and some have parents that cannot afford the gas to go ride to the library.

Reading should include literature that students have a thirst to read.

I remember when I read my first manga. The curiosity and excitement I had about a book that had to be read backwards. A book that was a direct opposite on how I learned to read. This excitement is how we get students back to reading. This manga still lives in popularity due to the popularity of the series. Let's change those signs students give when asked to read to excitement. By motivating to read, we can ensure more reading proficiency in math and reading.
