My Students
My Kindergarten students walk (or run) into my classroom every morning with excitement and an eagerness to learn! Everyday we grow, learn, read, and explore together. My students are full of energy and love to learn by hands on activities.
I teach at a low-income school where over a third of students receive free and reduced lunches.
Outside of the classroom, many of my students come from broken homes and families. School a place where my students feel safe, loved, and encouraged.
My Project
A mobile easel would transform the process of learning to read and write in my classroom. With 29 active Kindergarteners, I am seeking to make instruction accessible and mobile in my classroom. The easel would be used for daily morning messages, poems, stories, words, ideas, math problems, and so much more! The versatile easel also allows me to use magnets and chart paper to support and engage learning.
This easel would provide my students with a hands-on and age appropriate learning experience.
The easel is just the right size for my tiny humans to interact with as a we grow and learn throughout the year! I am certain my students would be over joyed to add this easel to our active classroom.
