My Students
My classroom community is working to create a New City of students who think deeply, solve problems, and focus on being kind members of the community. It's a joy to find new and creative ways to capture their attention, imagination, and engage them in learning new things every day.
We are a multi-age classroom of 1st and 2nd grade students. My students have a range of ages and abilities, and we work hard to differentiate learning for students in our community.
My Project
My students love learning to read! So much that many of our classroom books wear out and fall apart, especially early leveled readers. These small paper back books take a beating and my kids need new materials to stay engaged.
As a teacher I love providing multiple ways for students to learn to help differentiate learning. Playing is a huge part of learning and kids benefit from tactile learning experiences. I would love to get play dough to help kids have a hands on tactile learning experience.
These materials are consumable and not essential to the classroom budget. Please help me enrich my classroom and keep things fresh and fun!
