The 400 plus kind-hearted students of our K-5 school represent a diverse population of learners. Our Title I school is a special place that embraces the differences within our community. Our children are met daily with nurturing smiles and captivating inviting environments, where learning takes place.
Our school has amazing and creative teachers that aspire to engage students with great instructional resources.
To meet the needs of our diverse population of students, teachers are always searching for out of the box tools and techniques to give students great visuals. Our students thrive and do best when they are engaged. Their desire to learn is what drives our teachers to reinvent themselves by using innovative tools for instruction.
My energetic students love to read! They often come in to the school library ready to get lost in books but need cozy movable seating to take them on their reading journey. Wobble seats and stability balls are the easiest way to get the best of both worlds. Students can balance and read at the same time. It's a great way to engage the entire body in the reading process.
Visiting the school library is the time of day where students can decompress and relax while visiting exciting settings like Narnia or Hogwarts through literature.
Having flexible seating options gives students an outlet and a nontraditional way to spend time in the hub of the school. Reading is essential to learning. By giving my students fun comfortable seating and movement options to use while reading, I can create a demand for more free reading time.
