Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love my students. My students are the reason why I love teaching. They walk into our classroom every single day with smiles on their faces. They are always eager to start the day. When I ask them, "Who is the best class?" they reply, "We are!"
I have always let them know that I believe they are capable of doing anything they want.
Despite so many hardships, my students come to class every day and are eager to learn and do their best.
My Project
#ISeeMe
This is a variety of books for my students to listen to during read aloud.
They will be able to take them to their desk and read again. The variety of books are to correlate with the topics and themes that are going to be taught during our reading block.
The students will be able to use what they learned to answer comprehension and specific topic targeted questions. Many of the books will be for the first week of school where students will be able to relate to each other and learn from the differences. They will learn to accept each other and how to be kind.
The variety colored pens will be used to create colorful anchor charts, grade papers, and student activities and projects.
