Help me give my students comfortable bucket seat covers for the reading table and many quality books that are read aloud to them and available for them to look at and read again!

My Students

I teach a group of fantastic first graders! My students come from a variety of backgrounds. It is my goal to create an atmosphere where learning is fun and engaging.

My students are highly energetic first graders who are excited to learn!

My students love to learn, read, become super mathematicians, and be involved in hands-on activities. They enjoy learning, but sometimes come to school with some extra worries. It is my job to help them to focus on the good and reach their ultimate potential.

My Project

First graders are learning to read. The growth that they experience in one year is phenomenal! These seat covers and books will help create a literature centered environment where students are not just reading but also thinking about what they are reading.

Your donation will help get these books into the classroom for the students to see after it has been read aloud to them.

The interactive read aloud promotes thinking and learning while students are listening to books. These books will be read to the students and then also available for them to read and look through independently. These books will help students to understand different text formats and features. They will be exposed to varied vocabulary and be encouraged to think about what they are hearing read to them by being exposed to this high-quality literature.
