My students are my joy, and they deserve nothing but the best! These lively learners are new to 7th grade and any middle school teacher knows that this is a very challenging time for them all.
If there are any fellow middle school teachers or survivors (HAHA) out there, you know how overwhelming this can be.
These ladies and gentlemen have more potential than I can put into words. I fully believe that they will be our future leaders one day!
My Project
These magazine subscriptions will allow my students to read about different science topics as well as some character-building topics. Each student has something to bring to the table when it comes to academia and social-emotional living.
At our school, we focus on teaching the whole child.
This means that we are concerned with the academics as much as the soft skills. These magazines hit relevant science topics based on our standards and the world around them. They also touch on character-building topics to help them grow as individuals. Scholastic magazines are a great way to connect ELA with other subject areas as well in a cross-curricular setting.
