My Students

My students this year are amazing! They love being at school and I love getting to see them every day. We care about each other, and want to keep each other safe. They are hard workers and are determined to learn no matter what. I want my classroom to be a safe and inviting place, especially in these intense and confusing times we live in.

The students in my room are clever, kind, thoughtful people who continuously amaze and astound me with their perseverance and positivity.

They make me smile every day, and I hope to make them smile as well.

My Project

Technology is the new normal these days, and I want to help my students unlock the power of their reading voice! By using these headphones with microphones, my students can record themselves reading their book, listen back to themselves, and see where they may have made errors. This helps them to grow their brains and self confidence with their reading.

My students will surely improve their reading if they have their own good quality headsets with microphones.

Having them each have their own microphone allows me to assess their reading recordings in a COVID-safe environment, and allows the students to record their reading with some privacy if they are nervous to read in front of others at my small group table.
