This little crew is always ready and willing to go above and beyond, no matter what the task. They love to have fun, but they also love to learn. That is what I love about them. They never let anything stand in their way, not even the fact that more than three-fourths of our school population is considered below the poverty level. They are so determined to prosper and grow.
Their little brains are like little sponges that soak up anything and everything I can throw their way.
The more I throw the more they long for. It's amazing that their little heads can hold so much information yet yearn for more.
My Project
Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? He has such a fun and creative way with words...one that captures your imagination and brings you into his world. This is a world that I want to provide my students by adding some of his books to our classroom library. I want them to have to opportunity to learn from and love Dr. Seuss and what he has to offer them.

I absolutely love this quote by Dr. Seuss. How wonderful it is that I can provide my students with this experience by simply opening a book, one of his at that.
