My students need great visual aids, such as cloud charts and models, to learn about the basics of our weather, clouds, and how the two are inter-related. We are also going to be studying life-cycles using the butterfly puppet.

My students make up a great 3rd grade inclusion group, integration intellectually delayed students within the classroom setting.
They live in a low socioeconomic neighborhood and attend a school that is low performing. About 95% of my students qualify for a free lunch. They are hard working kids and they love going to school and are excited about learning new things.
My Project
I am requesting teaching materials that are very hands on and incredibly vivid in visual appearance in how they convey their specific topical information. My students will have a better understanding of the weather they see everyday. This is a very exciting time in my students lives.

We will be learning about specific cloud types and what they can mean. We will also learn about the cloud type/temperature/season correlations. Thank you for your support! The Carolina biological supply Cloud Chart and Flash Cards Set will help my students to learn and most importantly remember each of the specific types of clouds! The Weather Board will allow the students to actively follow current, and predict future, weather trends.
