This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you look back at your elementary years and wish your teacher would have had different and exciting ways to reach all of the kids in the class and not just some of them?
Well, here is your chance to make a difference in several children's
lives. Please help my children to excel at all levels!
My children are very sweet and eager to learn.
We are an inner-city classroom. They are between 7 and 8 years old. They come to school with smiles on their faces and ask me about what they will be learning that day.
They can all learn. However, while we have stations and guided reading time, I would love to have the additional materials that would help enhance and reinforce their independent learning time that is so big in the Common Core Initiative. We sincerely appreciate your support in helping us reach for the stars in all we do!
My Project
I'm so excited about the way your donation for our Common Core Language Arts materials will make a huge difference in all my students' lives. Just think about a group of seven and eight year old children writing their own research reports independently!
How about another eager group of learners working on developing their short and long vowels sounds while saying, spelling, and writing the words in the foundational skills Common Core set. As for the Writing Magic Boards, these will be an important part of how the children will be working in small groups learning and reinforcing many different skills. The washable markers will be a necessary component to supplement our Common Core Language Arts Stations.
Can you imagine the lights going on in a small child when they learn how to read fluently with the appropriate rate and expression after mastering their phonics skills. Your gift will surely help put the lights on in my wonderful classroom!
