My Students

All of my students are full of life from the moment they step foot into my classroom every morning until the last little footsteps out at the end of the day. Each and every one of them are so full of energy and eager to learn. There's never a dull moment!

However, this low income title doesn't keep their eager minds from craving all the knowledge it can possibly get.

They constantly ask questions and seek answers. They search for new ideas and different ways to be creative on a day to day basis.

The addition of technology in the classroom will only add to the dimension of creativity they can explore, while they excel academically.

My Project

Access to this online resources will allow me differentiate my reading instruction for students in my classroom. Each reader will have access to a multitude of books at their individual reading level.

This will allow each individual reader to increase their own reading comprehension and fluency though practice at their own individual reading levels.

Students are able to record themselves reading in order to monitor their own reading fluency and answer questions after reading to improve their comprehension.

Students are also able to record running records simultaneously, allowing me to review their running records later, meaning that I am able to spend class time actually working in a one on one or small group setting with students.

Additionally, I'm an ATPE member looking to help my students during the time while they are matching offers.
