My students need a pencil sharpener in order to continue to improve upon their writing, science, history, and math skills. Our class sharpener broke.

My Students

My classroom is consistent, fair, and fun. My students come from a disadvantaged district and work hard every day in order to achieve their goals. I try to teach them that it's not their abilities, but rather their choices that dictate their success.

My students attend an inner-city school.

They love coming to school and work hard every day. As a school wide community, we try to instill confidence in our students and help them all reach their academic potential. They love reading, writing, math, and social studies.

My Project

My students will be using this resource in order to sharpen their pencils. We've gone through a few pencil sharpeners and I am looking for something heavy-duty that will last. I know it may seem simple, but this one item is really vital to the success of my classroom.

My project makes a difference because it will physically improve the quality of my classroom.

Furthermore, I will teach my students that there are people out there kind enough to donate to my classroom - and I will emphasize the importance of charity to them.
