My Students

Help up learn how to read! We are excited to be a part of reading groups to increase our reading skills. Now we needs sets of the same books so we can read together and learn new reading strategies.

The children are a diverse group with unique personalities.

They amaze me everyday! It is an integrated classroom so some of the students have special needs. Children's Workshop School is a progressive school located in the East Village section of Manhattan.

My Project

I am requesting 1 set of Little Leveled Readers 4-pack of books. This set of books will make guided reading instruction possible. The students are in different reading groups and need to work on different reading strategies. It is important that children have "just right" books to read that are not too easy and not too hard. By having sets of the same leveled books, I will be able to work with groups of students on a specific skill. This will allow all my students to bloom as readers!

According to the 19th century American writer Ralph Waldo Emerson, nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
