My students need quality biography books in their reading level. They are excited to learn about men and women throughout history. The resources online are at a reading level that is too high for my students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love reading, learning and are very inquisitive. They are inspired when they read about men and women who, even at an early age were creative, helpful and diligent. It is important to provide research material that is in the students' reading level. There are many well written biographies that are geared for children to read independently.
Reading captures the imagination of students.
It opens up a whole world that never existed before they opened a biography. They can use these books to research, write, and present what they have learned.They are excited about new information, and each student is proud of their reading ability, research skills, and perseverance.
They are a community of caring, cooperative, and diligent students.
My Project
These biography books will inspire my students to work diligently, strive to be their very best, and reach for their dreams. With these books, they will be able to research and write biography reports that they will present to fellow classmates.
They are fascinated by the lives of the great men and women throughout the world.
These books will enhance their excitement of learning. They will share their questions and insight with their teacher, classmates and families. I will assign projects based on their biography books. They need books in their reading level in order to complete and present these biography projects.
